WebSep 7, 2024 · I have it so I only see my own battle effects already, but sometimes even that is too much (like Holy spam, or the DNC attacks), and turning them to limited or off feels so wrong, as if I'm not even doing anything. All the impact is lost. On top of that is that all the effects can be obscuring, and you won't see what you are doing. There's actually an option to hide the effects and you will see it on : Character Configuration > Control settings option > Character tab > Battle Effects Settings > tone it down to show limited/none.

Next, from the multiple options, toggle to the Character tab. Make sure that from the options on the left you have selected Control Settings while attempting this.
