WebJul 8, 2006 · If the gun is malfunctioning because of the breech face wear, then it needs to be fixed. The Breech end of the Barrel is not parkerized and remains in the white with no wear noted. There is no wear noted at all at the throat, indicating this rifle was probably never issued. The crown is perfect and unmarred. The rifle gauges at “0” at the breech.
