Web25 dic 2016 · When the BCM goes bad, the BCM stays on, and drains your battery. Check for parasitic drain on that fuse circuit. Also, have a look at your rear hatch lift glass and gate sensor mechanisms. They also go bad after a while and the Jeep thinks that t he glass or gate is still open and will not allow the BCM to go to sleep.
